Protecting Undocumented Immigrants

From the beginning of his campaign, Donald Trump has actively demonized immigrants, particularly Latino immigrants, and has embraced harsh policies that would harm these communities. These policies not only endanger our global relations and our economic growth, but also threaten to tear families apart. This kind of rhetoric, which promotes hate and discrimination against immigrants, is counter to the basic principles of our nation.

United We Dream

We selected United We Dream because of its focus on ensuring support for young people registered under DACA during a Trump presidency, their work to help families facing deportation proceedings, and their focus on empowering local efforts. They are the United States’ largest immigrant youth-led organization.

United We Dream pushes against “inequities and obstacles faced by immigrant youth and believe[s] that by empowering immigrant youth, we can advance the cause of the entire community—justice for all immigrants.” United We Dream is the largest immigrant youth-led organization in the nation. Their strong local and grassroots network is made up of over 100,000 immigrant youth and allies and 55 affiliate organizations in 26 states.
